Cattle Hedging

Another Riddle / math question?
A farmer wants to build a pen for his cattle, and he has 600m of fencing. But his farm, he has a hedge and a stream running vertically from each other and they are both over 600m long, so the effectiveness of two party has ended. What is the best shape so there is the greatest place for cattle?
Because / beginning of a circle containing the largest place in a given perimeter and then the best shape is a quarter circular area in the stream and hedge on two sides and a curved fence 600m four-forming part circle. If however the stream must be a danger to his cattle and then half generated by hedge and wall is recommended.
